A naked man who stood on a bridge above paddleboarders is just one of many reports of indecent exposure in the same area.
On May 25, two women were paddling on the River Medway when the man, who was naked apart from trainers and a cap, stood on a bridge between East Lock and Oak Weir Lock in Tonbridge.
He was looking in the direction of the women and rode away on a blue bicycle, still unclothed.
He was reportedly seen exposed again as the victims travelled along the river.
Police searched the area but were unable to find the suspect who was white, in his 60s, and around 5ft 8ins to 6ft.
He was of stocky and was wearing a black cap and Converse-style trainers.
Seperate allegations are also being investigated, where a man was seen naked and carrying his clothes by two dog walkers near Eldridge’s Lock, on June 5.
He was described as being in his 40s and of a slimmer build.
Detective Constable Joe Seal, of the West Kent Vulnerability Team, said: “We have been carrying out enhanced patrols in several areas, including officers in plain clothes and are urging people to be vigilant.
“It is possible these incidents are linked to two different men and we are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact us.
“We are also asking people to cast their minds back to last year, when a number of similar incidents were reported near areas of the River Medway.
“These included a suspect who was with a small brown and white dog, possibly a boxer breed.”
