Tonbridge residents are being reminded to keep their property secure following a number of break-ins in recent weeks.
Sheds, garages and other outbuildings have been targeted, with gardening equipment and lawnmowers among the items stolen.
Officers arrested two teenage boys aged 16 and 17 in connection with six offences in Thorpe Avenue on Thursday, June 25. They have both been bailed until July 25 pending further inquiries.
Homeowners are still being asked to remain vigilant.
Inspector Mark Hutcheon, of the Tonbridge and Malling community safety unit, said: "The main area targeted was between Hildenborough Road and Shipbourne Road, but thankfully we have now experienced a significant reduction in the number of reports.
"However, residents should still ensure they protect and secure their own property to make it more difficult for opportunistic criminals to get their hands on belongings that do not belong to them.
"It can be tempting to leave doors and windows open during hot weather but remember that others may see this as an opportunity to help themselves to your hard-earned valuables."
