A ROAD in a Kent town was closed this afternoon when a package containing a projector was reported as suspicious.

East Street, in Tonbridge, was closed for two hours after police received a report of a suspect package being delivered to a business.

The package aroused suspicion because did not have the usual markings, East Street reopened at 3.15pm.
