The world's most colourful run will be making Kent its second home with not one but two events this summer.
Two of the counties most iconic stately homes will play host to the colour-filled, 5km, Run or Dye event - the first at Penshurst Place and the second at Hever Castle.
Last year more than 5,000 runners took part in the Hever Castle run and Run or Dye said many are signing up again after enjoying it so much.
Participants are encouraged to run, jog or walk to the finish line, getting covered head-to-toe in colour as go they amongst the scenery of the castle grounds and through four 'dye-zones'.
Hever Castle CEO, Duncan Leslie, said: “I am delighted Run or Dye will be returning to Hever Castle. What a spectacle it made last year – so much colour, energy and dare I say it was fun.”
Inspired by the ancient Hindu festival of Holi, also known as the ‘Festival of Colours’, Run or Dye gives runners, walkers and all speeds in-between, the opportunity to experience and celebrate the thrill of the Festival and introduce the idea of ‘living life on purpose’.
Runners can take part dressed in white or their most extravagant costumes. As part of registration all participants will receive a goody bag with their white t-shirt and their very own dye packs.
The event will take place at Penshurst Place on July, 5 and Hever Castle on October, 3.
