A woman has died after being hit by a train.
The fatality happened at Hildenborough railway station just before 10pm last night.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Trains between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge were suspended after the incident, but services have now resumed.
Buses were sent to the station to help stranded passengers.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "At 9.50pm on Monday, May 2, a report was received of a person being struck by a train at Hildenborough railway station.
"Officers from British Transport Police attended with the ambulance service.
"A female was found deceased at the scene. The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

A Southeastern spokesman added: "Services on the line between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge were affected after a person was hit by a train last night at around 10pm near Hildenborough Station.
"A bus replacement service was put in place and taxis were used to get those on the train home. The line reopened shortly after midnight."
It is the second such incident at Hildenborough this year. In January a 40-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells died after being hit by a train at the station.
