A sex pest who escaped a jail sentence for groping two women has been locked up for two years for a similar offence.
Richard Kaminsky promised a High Court judge that he would never behave in such a way again.
“Never, your Honour, never,” he said. “I fully understand and I will never ever do anything. I give you my word.”
The 50-year-old, of Valley Road, Rusthall, was last year given a community order and supervision after admitting two sexual assault charges, committed in 2006.
He was also placed under a curfew and ordered to attend a sex offenders’ programme.
Edmund Fowler, prosecuting, said those offences involved Kaminsky going to one victim’s home and rubbing her breasts. He also tried to kiss her.
In the second assault, he barged his way into a woman’s home, forced her against a wall and touched her breasts.
He had a previous similar conviction which involved him accosting a woman in the street and kissing up her arm. He told the victim: “I am in love with you darling.”
In the latest sexual assault on July 5, Kaminsky again groped a woman’s breasts.
Renata Jurenko, defending, said a probation report gave the impression Kaminsky, who had problems with drink and drugs, was a violent sexual predator.
“Rather than being a sexual predator, he is a 50-year-old man who is a sex pest,” she said.
“He is a nuisance. He finds himself in situations and doesn’t know how to behave. He is a complete pest.”
Mr Justice Akenhead told Kaminsky he had continued to deny his guilt when interviewed by a probation officer.
“I have formed the view you are a sex pest,” he said. “This is not your first offence. You went up to them and grabbed them in an unpleasant and offensive way.
“You clearly have a problem. You don’t know how to behave. It seems women in the area where you live need to be protected.”
The judge warned: “If you commit another sexual offence the next sentence is going to be even more heavy than this.”
