Thousands of students are celebrating their full set of GCSE results today, but the same can't be said for a number of candidates at Tonbridge School.
Students woke early this morning ready and excited to receive the much-anticipated results.
But many were left without an English Literature coursework or German result after two separate exam boards sent out incorrect grades.
The papers will now have to be sent for re-marking and it's unclear how long the process will take.
A Tonbridge School spokesperson said: “GCSE results for Tonbridge are likely to be excellent, but we cannot as yet give the overall picture, as the relevant exam boards have admitted errors in two subject areas which may take a few days to resolve.
“Boys and parents have been informed and we will endeavour to release a summary of our results as soon as possible.”
The exam boards involved have been approached for comment.
