A suspect is due in court today after being arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary in Tonbridge.

Three men, including two carrying knives, forced their way into a house in Trench Road on Tuesday, January 28, and made off with a quantity of cash.

Oliver Bowles of Shipbourne Road, Tonbridge was arrested the following day and later charged with aggravated burglary and possession of a knife.

The 22-year-old has been remanded in custody to appear by video link before Medway Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).
