A date has been revealed for Taco Bell to take over a former McDonald's in a high street.
The American food-chain will open its sixth store in the county next week.
People can visit the eatery in High Street, Tonbridge, at the former McDonald's site, when it opens on Tuesday, December 6.
It has been transformed into a 2,000 sq ft space and the first 100 customers will receive a free taco.
Taco Bell is part of Yum! Brands, Inc. which also owns Pizza Hut and KFC.
It was founded by Glen Bell in 1962 and now has 7,000 restaurants in the United States and 400 more across the world.
The chain offers Mexican-inspired classics such as burritos, nachos, quesadillas and, of course, tacos.
The company already has branches in Chatham, Crayford, Dover and Maidstone, and the most recent opening was in Folkestone this month.
Head of marketing for the company, Lucy Dee, said: “We’re delighted to be able to bring Taco Bell to Tonbridge
“Kent has been crying out for more Taco Bells and we’re very pleased to be able to deliver. We look forward to feeding residents from next Tuesday onwards whether it be via home delivery, click & collects, takeaway or dine in”.
