Members from Tonbridge Camera Club are celebrating after winning a national competition for their creative photography skills.
The club which has more than 80 members, was invited to take part in the Mersea Island Challenge Trophy organised by a club in Essex.
Twelve groups from across the UK were invited to submit 10 pictures of their choice to be shortlisted for the prize.
The digital images from Tonbridge members stood out as the overall champions beating entries from as far as Cornwall and Scotland.
Club Chairman Colin Burgess said: "It is a real honour to have won this year. It's the first time we've won and I hope it will inspire members to take more winning pictures before we enter again next year.”
John Hunt from Hawkhurst who submitted Fear in the Wild Water said: "Everyone is so delighted. We're a mixed group of all ages and this is a real success for us."
Tonbridge Camera Club meet on Thursdays at Weald of Kent Grammar School, on Tudeley Lane.
New members from across the county are welcome to join.
They hope to start weekly meetings again from September.
