She may only be a toddler, but little Matilda Radford has one of the best jobs going... as a toy tester.
The one-year-old has been chosen to represent global toy company Tomy as one of its Super Tots, testing toys before they are released for sale.
Matilda, aka Electro, won her category due to her interest in all things techie and for always being drawn to household gadgets, in particular television remote controls and telephones.
This quest for pressing buttons made her a natural fit for the role, to the delight of parents Diane and Jim, both 34, who put her forward.
Diane, a full-time mum from Waterloo Place, Tonbridge, said: “We were really pleased when we found out, it is going to be a fun thing for her growing up and we can show her she was a Super Tot when she is older.
“I entered her after I saw something on Facebook. We sent a picture to Tomy with her in her “office” with a computer.
“I don’t know about displaying any superpowers but when she was about seven months old she was always wanting to press the keys on the laptop and the phone.
“Matilda has a collection of spare remote controls, with the batteries taken out, that she enjoys playing with" - mum Diane

Tomy launched the search to find five youngsters with super-human play powers to become official toddler representatives for the brand.
As well as being awarded with the central part of any superheroes outfit, a cape, becoming a Super Tot means Matilda has also been given a stack of toys to test for the firm as they develop new lines.
Mrs Radford added: “We are really looking forward to trying out all the great toys. It will be interesting to see how she reacts to the toys and how she chooses to play with them.”
