Tommy Warrilow is looking for revenge when his players take on AFC Hornchurch

Tonbridge v AFC Hornchurch

Tonbridge Angels boss Tommy Warrilow believes his side could put AFC Hornchurch out of the running for an end of season play-off place in the Ryman League Premier Division.

The two teams meet at the Longmead Stadium on Saturday with the Angels looking to cement their place in the play-offs.

Angels are third in the league and remain seven points clear of fourth-placed Carshalton Athletic.

Hornchurch still have an outside chance of reaching the play-offs but remain 15 points behind Tonbridge and seven points off fifth place.

Warrilow said: “I can’t see Hornchurch catching us if we beat them on Saturday. It would be hard for us to drop that amount of points.”

The Angels boss is expecting a tough game against Hornchurch after losing 3-0 against them earlier in the season.

He said: “They are quite direct and we have got to make sure we match them in that area. We will try and get the ball down and expose them when they do that.”

Lee Minshull is available are serving a three game suspension. Tommy Tyne (thigh), Phil Starkey (knee) and Ade Olorunda (foot) are struggling with injuries.
