Tonbridge Angels will have a chance to end their run of poor form away from Longmead at Leatherhead on Saturday.

Angels have yet to register a win on the road this season after losing the Ryman League Premier Division clash at Enfield Town on Tuesday.

The home side’s 2-1 victory, which was sealed by a 94th-minute goal, means Tonbridge have now lost all four away games.

Boss Steve McKimm is under no illusions about what his players have got to do to change that disappointing statistic.

He said: “We’ve got to learn to concentrate from the first minute until the final whistle. There are no excuses for doing anything else.

“It was heartbreaking to concede a goal at the end like we did at Enfield but we’ve got to learn and do it quickly. We must put our bodies on the line for every minute of every game.

“The players have gone from the high of beating high-flying Maidstone to losing the next two.

“It’s not a nice feeling losing – nobody likes it. But it’s no good them feeling sorry for themselves. They’ve got to learn from their mistakes."
