Tonbridge Angels must win their Easter Monday relegation scrap at Chelmsford City to stand any chance of staying in Skrill South.
Their 1-1 draw at home to Bromley on Saturday left second-bottom Angels four points adrift of safety and fellow strugglers Chelmsford with only two games left.
Even a win over their Essex rivals may not be enough to take the survival battle to the final day of the season as City could still make themselves safe by winning their game in hand against Gosport Borough on Wednesday night.
Bradley Goldberg gave Bromley the lead at Longmead on nine minutes after a mistake by Angels keeper Lewis Carey left him with a simple finish.
Tommy Warrilow's men hit back with Alex Teniola running on to Philip Appiah's through ball and beating Bromley keeper Joe Welch on 21 minutes.
Bromley looked the more likely winners during the second half but Carey made up for his early error.
