Tonbridge Angels boss Steve McKimm says FA Cup draw with Dartford spreads the feelgood factor throughout the club

Steve McKimm says Tonbridge Angels’ home draw against Dartford in the FA Cup is a reward for the whole club – not just the players.
The Kent rivals were paired together in Monday’s fourth qualifying round draw and face each other at Longmead on Saturday, October 15.
Angels boss McKimm said: “It’s a Kent derby against a team from a higher league who have a good manager – who knows his football – and a good following. It’s a great draw.
“We have surpassed anything we have achieved in the competition since I have been here. Everyone involved deserves a run and it will provide important extra revenue in terms of bar takings, food and programmes.”
Angels will look forward to hosting another four-figure gate, topping the near-1,200 that watched them beat Hereford 4-2 last Saturday. Two goals in the opening nine minutes from Luke Allen and Nick Wheeler made it a perfect start for McKimm’s men. Craig Dundas and Luke Blewden also netted.
McKimm added: “We took our chances and reduced theirs to a minimum. They are an experienced side, but looked leggy, and we utilised that by getting around them."
Third-placed Angels return to Ryman League Premier Division action on Saturday facing ground-sharers Grays at Aveley. Defender Jerome Sobers is set to be in contention for a return after a calf problem.
McKimm said: “Jamie Stuart is in charge there now and someone I know very well.
“They are a tough, hard working side, who aren’t getting the rub of the green at the moment and I hope they don’t start against us."
Angels host Sittingbourne in the second round of the Ryman League Cup on Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm).
