Tonbridge Angels defender Ben King has secured a two-week trial with a professional club in Malaysia.
King, whose mum is Malaysian, begins his trial at the start of December.
Angels boss Steve McKimm said: “I’m delighted for Ben because there was a bit of interest last year but nothing materialised.
“He didn’t think it would happen for him but the club have made contact over the last couple of weeks.
“It’s a professional outfit and if he does make it, there’s a chance of playing international grade football which would be great for him and our club.
“He’s got family and friends out there. He’s a good player and he’ll give it his best shot.”
King remains available for the Ryman League, Premier Division game at VCD tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm) as does Marvin Williams after McKimm secured the services of the ex-Football League striker until Christmas.
