Tonbridge boss Steve McKimm believes loanee Mitchell Pinnock will benefit from extending his stay at Angels

Tonbridge boss Steve McKimm wants to extend Mitchell Pinnock’s loan spell from Maidstone.
Pinnock set up both goals in a 2-0 win at Leatherhead on Wednesday night as Angels went third in the Ryman League, Premier Division.
The winger played a glorious crossfield ball for Nick Wheeler’s third-minute opener and sent in the corner that led to Sonny Miles clinching victory before half-time.
With Angels not in action on Saturday, the final game of Pinnock’s one-month loan is due to be at Grays on Wednesday. But that game will be postponed if Grays require an FA Cup replay against Welling.
Angels manager McKimm plans to speak to Stones boss Jay Saunders about keeping Pinnock for another month.
He said: “It’s taken Mitchell a couple of games to get going where he hasn’t been playing much but that crossfield ball on Wednesday was something not many at this level could do. It was fantastic.
"Maidstone are playing well so hopefully there’s a possibility we’ll be able to keep him. There’s not much point going back if he’s going to be sitting on the bench.
“I’ll be talking to Jay to see if there’s anything we can do.”
