Tonbridge boss Steve McKimm was disappointed to see winger Mitchell Pinnock recalled from his loan spell at Longmead this week.

Pinnock’s parent club, Bromley, had agreed in principle to extend his deal until the end of the season but the Vanarama Conference South leaders then had a change of heart.

With several injuries in their squad the Ravens decided to bring Pinnock - who scored from the penalty spot in Angels' 1-1 draw with Bognor last week - back into the fold.

McKimm said: “I was disappointed about that but he’s their player so they can do what they want with him.

“His loan ran out on Wednesday but he was going to stay with us until the end of the season. I had all the paperwork ready but they called him back.

“I haven’t seen a winger like him in this league or Conference South. He’s direct, he runs at
people and he creates chances. I just hope he doesn’t go back to Bromley and sit on the bench after having a month of games with us.”

Tonbridge are four places and seven points above the Ryman League Premier Division drop zone ahead of Saturday's trip to fourth-placed Hendon.

Angels could welcome defenders Jon Heath and Jerrome Sobers back into the squad after injury.
