Tonbridge Angels manager Tommy Warrilow says there's no point moaning about busy schedule ahead of Skrill South game at Maidenhead

The games are coming thick and fast and how Tonbridge boss Tommy Warrilow would love to see the points arriving in the same fashion.

His side need every one they can get if they are to avoid relegation from Skrill South.

Angels were second-bottom ahead of last night’s (Thursday) showdown against Dover and they were undefeated in three, following the 2-2 draw against Concord on Tuesday night.

Warrilow’s side head to fellow strugglers Maidenhead tomorrow (Saturday) for their fourth game in a week.

Maidenhead, who won 4-2 at Angels last month, also played on Thursday, so Warrilow said both sides should be in the same physical state for the clash.

He said: “The week has been long and hard but we (all the other sides) are all in the same boat now.

“There is no point moaning about it, or saying how tired the players are – you have just got to dust yourself down after each game and get on with the next.

“Besides, as far as I am concerned, it’s not the physical side that concerns me, it’s the mental side.

“Players have got to be spot on with that at this time of the season. They have got to be up for every game no matter how quickly they come around."

Angels travel to Staines on Tuesday.
