Tonbridge v Canvey
Tonbridge boss Tommy Warrilow has a fully-fit squad available for Saturday’s home game against Canvey Island.
Tommy Tyne returns after completing a one-match suspension while Fraser Logan (knee) and Tim Olorunda (ankle) are fit after missing last week’s 2-0 win at Harlow where the Tonbridge bench comprised mainly reserve team players.
Warrilow had no complaints with Simon Glover’s dismissal but defended the club against allegations that Tonbridge were excessively physical after six players were cautioned. The club are waiting to receive a copy of the referee’s report, which could lead to an FA fine.
Meanwhile central defender Leon Legge is attracting interest from Millwall and Dagenham & Redbridge, managed by former Maidstone boss John Still.
“I’m not surprised that Leon is attracting interest from League clubs because he’s playing so well,” said Warrilow. “But we don’t want to lose a player so important to what we’re trying to achieve at this club.
“If he leaves someone will have to make an offer we cannot refuse because no way will he go on the cheap."
