Tonbridge take on Harrow at Longmead with Angels manager Steve McKimm in buoyant mood following the impact made by new signings Simon Thomas and Luke Allen.
Thomas made a dream start to his Tonbridge career by scoring with his first touch in the 2-2 draw at at Merstham in the Ryman League Premier Division last weekend.
Against Harrow on Saturday, Angels will be further boosted by the return from injury of Laurence Ball, while Jerrome Sobers is available after suspension.
Angels boss McKimm had been looking at Thomas for a while.
He said: “I wanted cover and competition for Nathan Elder and Luke Blewden because they’ve played almost every game and they’re my out-and-out scorers."
McKimm was also impressed with his other new signing, midfielder Allen, who joined from St Albans.
The Angels boss added: “Luke was someone I was put in touch with. I did my homework speaking to his previous managers."
Of Saturday's opponents, McKimm said: “I know Steve Baker, the Harrow manager, well and he’s doing a tremendous job there.
“He kept them up when they looked dead and buried and they’ve pushed on this year.
“His sides work hard, whether they’re in front or behind. He’s from the same mould as me when it comes to work ethic."
