TONBRIDGE Angels opening pre-season friendly match at Folkestone Invicta on Saturday has been cancelled, leaving Angels boss Tommy Warrilow to search for an alternative fixture.

Problems with the pitch at the Buzzlines Stadium led to the teams calling off the fixture - the first since Invicta were relegated to Ryman League Division 1 South in April.

Angels host Eastbourne Borough in a friendly next Saturday (26th) with another five warm-up fixtures scheduled before their Ryman League Premier Division campaign begins at Wealdstone on August 16.
