Tonbridge are waiting on the fitness of goalkeeper Jonny Henly after he was stretchered off against Bognor Regis on Saturday.
Angels will take another look at Henly's injured ankle tonight (Thursday) before deciding whether to dip into the market.
Manager Steve McKimm said: "Is he OK? I'm not sure. He was still sore on Tuesday night.
"We'll look again at training on Thursday to see how he is.
"It might be that we have to get someone in.
"It's just a matter of not panicking.
"I'm hopeful Jonny will come through but if not I've got a couple of people in mind.
"Looking at the video it was a 50:50 challenge.
"If it's anywhere else on the park with the way he goes in, it's a foul and possibly a red card.
"But where he's laying down and he goes in, the referee deems it a fair challenge even though he's nowhere near the ball."
It was 1-1 at Longmead when Henly went off - Bradley Lethbridge's opener for Bognor cancelled out by Alex Read - but Regis pinched a last-minute winner when Mason Walsh beat substitute keeper Stewart Copeland.
Tonbridge remain top of the Bostik Premier after 10 games, a point clear of Worthing.
McKimm said: "It was a very good game. First half we weren't brave enough on the ball but second half we were and we restricted them mostly to long-range shots.
"We're still top and if you'd offered me 22 points from the first 10 games I'd have taken it.
"We've got to try and repeat that for the next 10, then another 10 and another 10."
Midfielder Tom Beere is back in training for an Angels side who visit AFC Hornchurch this Saturday but Jack Richards (ankle) is out.
The Urchins have lost their past two games having started the season unbeaten.
McKimm said: "Hornchurch will be licking their wounds. They won't be happy but they've only had two defeats this season, the same as us.
"It's not a nice place to go. They're a physical side who will test everything we've got."
Tonbridge host Enfield on Tuesday night.
