Steve McKimm has drawn a line under Sonny Miles' red card in Tonbridge's FA Trophy win over Whyteleafe.
Miles apologised on Twitter following his 12th-minute sending off in Saturday's first qualifying round victory.
They trailed going into the last 10 minutes but Alex Read and a last-minute Joe Turner penalty earned a 2-1 win.
Angels boss McKimm said: "Sonny knows he made a mistake. It was very out of character for him.
"He held his hands up and that's it as far as I'm concerned, it's done and dusted.
"There's nothing we can do about it now, except learn from it.
"These things happen but everyone makes mistakes. Everyone knows what Sonny's like. He's sincere and he held his hands up.
"We lose him for three games but we have to get on with it."
Leaders Tonbridge host Whitehawk in the Bostik Premier this Saturday.
The Hawks are down in 19th place after last season's relegation but McKimm won't be taking them lightly.
He said: "They had a good start this year but they've had a couple of bad results recently.
"They've made a few changes over the last week or so and there's still time to make a few more before we play them, although hopefully they don't.
"They'll be as tough as any other side we play. There's not one team you look at and think it'll be an easy game.
"What the players have got to do is get in the right frame of mind for every game we play. That's what I've been telling them."
Angels visit Kingstonian in a rearranged game on Wednesday.
McKimm said: "They lost in the Trophy on Tuesday night but they've hit some form.
"They've got the majority of their players back from injury.
"I know what it's like when you've got people missing.
"You can't get any momentum but they've got them back now and they have lots of firepower."
