Tonbridge Angels go into Saturday's FA Cup tie at Redhill as favourites but manager Steve McKimm is wary of an upset.
McKimm’s side are 12th in the Ryman League, Premier Division while their hosts for the second qualifying round tie are fifth-bottom in Division 1 South.
Angels beat Redhill’s league rivals Herne Bay 6-0 in the last round but McKimm knows the trip is unlikely to be so straightforward.
He said: “We’re the favourites because we’re in the league above but it’s going to be a tough test.
“I know Mike Maher, their manager and he likes to play the right way.
“His teams are always hard-working so we’ve got to match their work-rate.
“Hopefully, being the league above, we’ll have that extra quality to see us through. I’m not taking anything for granted, though. We’ve got to put in a performance, like we’ve done all season.
“We don’t know what we’re coming up against in terms of their pitch.
“They’ll be used to it and we’ll have to adapt to it. They’ll have looked at our away record, which hasn’t been the greatest but we’ll go there and give it our best shot.”
Tonbridge will be away to East Thurrock on Tuesday night unless the Redhill tie goes to a replay.
