This is Potts’ first competitive endurance season - but she is no stranger to endurance sports.

She competed in the famous Mongol Derby in 2023, a gruelling 1,000k race.

Tonbridge’s Potts - a construction project manager with a passion for adventure sports - has always pushed herself to the limits.

She started with 5ks and ended up representing the UK at the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships in Canada, participated in ultra-marathons for fun and gave Ironman triathlons a go.

Riding has been a lifelong passion for her, culminating in her participation in the Mongol Derby, where her love for riding blended with her endurance challenges.

She said: “[I am] so excited and honoured to represent England for my first endurance season.”

She will ride Rocco, owned by Iwona Wightman, a 19-year-old purebred Arab, in the 40k class.
