Tonbridge Angels v Northwood
TONBRIDGE, at home to Northwood on Saturday, have endured a nightmare run that has seen them winless in the Ryman Premier League since beating Chelmsford on September 25.
Factors such as injuries and refereeing decisions have contributed to Tonbridge's problenms, but manager Tony Dolby sees the position in black and white.
“We’ve not won in 10 games and no matter how it happened, that fact remains the same,” he said.
In the Angels’ final game before the festive break, substance over style will be the order of the day to help lift the side towards safety.
“We definitely have to get three points on the board no matter how it comes about,” stressed Dolby. “For once, I’m not too bothered about the performance just as long as we’ve got the three points by 5 o’clock on Saturday.”

Northwood currently lie 15th in the table, eight points ahead of Tonbridge. Defeat for the Angels would not only leave them stranded in the relegation places, but would allow yet another team in the bottom half to slip away from them, leaving a frantic chase for points in the New Year.
