Steve McKimm is making changes to his Tonbridge squad after branding their form unacceptable.

Angels lost all three Bostik Premier games in November and also went out of the FA Trophy and League Cup.

Defender Sammy Knott and forward Liam King have been released, while Angels are working on deals for a midfielder and a striker.

Manager McKimm said: "We need to freshen things up because it can't keep going the way it is.

"Hopefully this gives others a kick up the backside and if not there will be more changes.

"We've lost three games in a row and not scored, so things need changing.

"The players who are here have got another chance to stand up and be counted or they will be the next ones out the door.

"I'm not prepared to stand still this season.

"November was unacceptable. Before the club even think of changing me, I'll be changing the squad."

Tonbridge, who lost 2-0 at home to Leatherhead last weekend, remain third in the Bostik Premier.

They visit leaders Dorking this Saturday.

McKimm said: "It'll be another tough game but hopefully we'll have two fresh faces in to help us out.

"Dorking have taken one point out of six and we're nought out of nine, so neither of us are on the best form, but this will be a very difficult game."
