The air ambulance landed after a missing man was found in woodland this morning.

A member of the Tunbridge Wells Community Policing Team spotted the man close to St Peter's Church in London Road shortly after 8.15am.

Due to concerns for the man's welfare ambulance crews were called.

The helicopter landed shortly before 9am.

The man was taken to hospital by road ambulance.

The man was taken to King's College Hospital in London.
