Rusthall: Police appeal for information after death of 78-year-old man, Roy Bowen

Officers investigating the death of a 78-year-old man involved in a collision in Rusthall have renewed an appeal for witnesses.
A pedestrian, named locally as Roy Bowen, died after being hit by a white Nissan Primastar van in the High Street at the junction with Manor Road.
The accident happened at 4.55pm on Friday, November 27 outside the One-Stop shop.
The driver stopped following the collision.
Mr Bowen was married to Mary, with an extensive family including children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Police closed the High Street between Manor Road and Common View while accident investigation officers attended. It was re-opened at 8.50pm.
No-one has been arrested in connection with the accident.
Sergeant Hannah Brown said: "This is a busy area and at this time of the day there would have been lots of people either in their cars or on foot who may have information which can help with our enquiries.
"We would like to hear from anyone who has not yet made contact. If you witnessed the collision or perhaps saw the elderly man crossing the road or the van in the moments prior to the incident, please get in touch."
