Boy taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital, Pembury, after falling out of tree in Edenbridge park

A nine-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after falling out of a tree in an Edenbridge park.

The youngster was playing on land off Cedar Drive yesterday morning when the accident happened.

Emergency services, including the air ambulance were called just after 11am.

The boy, who was fully conscious, was treated at the scene for suspected back, leg, neck and stomach injuries before being taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital, Pembury, by road.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
