Fire crews were called out to tackle a car fire in Tunbridge Wells in the early hours of this morning.

Kent Fire and Rescue attended the incident on Wiltshire Way where a Volkswagen Golf was ablaze at 1.57am today.

The vehicle's engine compartment was entirely destroyed as a result of the fire.

Kent Police officers were also in attendance.

The emergency services left the scene at 2.33am.
