Emergency services called to crash on East Cliff Road, St John's Road, Tunbridge Wells

A child has been cut free from a car after it collided with a coach on a busy road in Tunbridge Wells.

The air ambulance, police and firefighters were called to the junction of St John’s Road and East Cliff Road shortly before 4.15pm.

Fire crews rescued the boy after stabilising the vehicle and using hydraulic equipment to remove the roof.

Three patients, two children and one man, were later taken to the Tunbridge Wells Hospital where they will be treated for minor injuries.

East Cliff Road was closed in both directions, crews have since made the scene safe and the road was clear by 7.30pm.
