Fire crews were called to the scene of a blaze in Southborough, just outside of Tunbridge Wells in the early hours of this morning.

Firefighters received reports that an outbuilding used for storage in London Road was alight just before 2.20am.

Two appliances arrived at the scene and it's thought the fire started in an industrial wheelie bin nearby which then spread to the property.

"Two fire engines attended and crews used a high pressure hose reel to tackle the blaze in a timber clad, purpose built outbuilding, used for storage purposes.

"It is believed the fire may have caught fire from an industrial wheelie bin situated next to the property.

"After extinguishing the fire, firefighters spent time damping down and cutting away, using small tools to remove burnt timbers and vent the property.

"They left the scene around 4.20am."
