Suspected drug dealer to appear in court after drugs and cash seized in Southborough, near Tunbridge Wells

A suspected drug dealer, who was arrested after police discovered 43 wraps of cocaine and more than £100 in cash in their car, in Southborough, near Tunbridge Wells, is to appear in court.

Officers became suspicious of a Mini Countryman driven by 18-year-old Van Tran, from Bexleyheath, travelling on London Road at around 11am on Wednesday.

The 18-year-old is due to appear in court today

Upon searching the car, they seized the drugs and money.

He was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and criminal property - the £103.

The suspect was remanded in custody and will appear before Medway Magistrates Court on today (Thursday).
