Detectives have launched an appeal after a woman was robbed while she was out with her young daughter.

The victim, in her 20s, was walking along Holmewood Road, High Brooms towards Colebrook Road with her 10-year-old when a teenager on a black mountain bike pulled the black bag that was over her shoulder from behind.

The victim held onto the bag and shouted at the teenager for around 30 seconds; however, he managed to get the bag away from her and rode off into North Farm Road towards Chapman Way.

Police have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to. Picture: Kent Police

The bag contained cash, bank cards and food.

Now Kent Police has released a computer generated image of a man they believe can help with their enquiries, following the incident, at 1pm on Sunday October 8.
