Rail passengers travelling between Battle, Tunbridge Wells and London will this morning face delays because of a fallen tree.

The disruption started around 9am when the tree came down close to Battle Station.

Trains running on the Hastings Lines were at a stand while Network Rail staff worked to remove it.

All lines reopened around 10am but services in both directions are still running at a reduced speed as precaution.
