The body of a young man who went missing yesterday has been found.

The family of Tom Brockman launched a search party today after the 23-year-old disappeared on Wednesday.

Tom had last been seen leaving the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre in Tunbridge Wells before making his way down Camden Road.

A police spokesman said: “Shortly after midday on Thursday, the body of a man was found in countryside near Leigh. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

“Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of a 23-year-old man who had been reported missing from Tunbridge Wells on Wednesday have been informed.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.”
