A heroin dealer will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to supplying drugs.

Daniel Saunders had been supplying banned substances from his flat in Southborough, near Tunbridge Wells.

The property was raided by police in August last year, and heroin was found, as well as various tools of the trade.

These included scales, tick lists of customers, mobile phones, and other drug paraphernalia.

The 30-year-old was arrested and the items were seized for forensic analysis.

Tests confirmed that 1.3g of heroin had been seized, enough for around 13 street deals.

When officers downloaded the contents of his mobile phone, text messages showed he had been arranging deals.

He told police the drugs were for his own personal consumption and claimed other drug users must have used the phone to make deals.

He was charged with possessing heroin with intent to supply, offering to supply heroin, and offering to supply crack cocaine.

The Southborough resident pleaded guilty to all charges at Maidstone Crown Court yesterday.

He has been remanded in custody to be sentenced at the Barton Road court at the start of February.
