'An Evening with Jim Buttress' is being held in Knockholt next month

One of the UK's leading gardening experts will be hosting a special event in Kent next month.
Jim Buttress, who was superintendent of the Royal Parks for 25 years and whose clients include Her Majesty the Queen and the Queen Mother will be sharing his knowledge and experiences with guests.
Mr Buttress also holds the Victoria Medal of Honour, the highest accolade in horticulture.
He has judged numerous gardening competitions across the world and has recently been judging contestants on BBC 2’s ‘Big Allotment Challenge’.
On Saturday, November 1 the horticultural expert will be offering guests the opportunity to ask him any gardening questions they may have.
Tickets are £18 per person with all proceeds going to Hospice in the Weald.
The event will run from 7pm until 9pm at Coolings Garden Centre in Knockholt where student ambassadors will be attending.
