A kmfm listener has started their weekend off the right way by winning £1,000 on Kent's radio station.

Trevor Cooper from Pembury assumed when his phone rang it was kmfm who interrupted his dinner and has promised to spoil his family with his winnings.

Presenter Ben Pearce made the call to this month's winner who said he plans to spend some of his prize money during his family holiday in Devon, with his wife, Gemma, son Harvey, 12, and daughter Jess, eight.

Trevor said: "Thank you very much, my daughter will definitely be spoiled with £1,000."

The competition, '£1,000 Friday', invites listeners to enter to win the cash jackpot.

There are no questions or tie-breakers but listeners have 24 hours, from Thursday at 6pm to enter.
