A lorry and a car collided near shops in Tunbridge Wells this afternoon.

The crash, between a Vauxhall Astra and a DAF truck, happened in Liptraps Lane at 1.15pm and blocked the road for 45 minutes.

Emergency services rushed to the crash site but a police spokesman confirmed no serious injuries had been reported.

The road was cleared by 2pm.
