A man has admitted fraudulently gaining over £5,000 from his Tunbridge Wells workplace.
On eight occasions between April 8 and May 16 last year, while working for a company in Grosvenor Road, Justin Guthridge committed fraud by refunding items onto his personal bank card.
The 24-year-old intended to make a total gain of £5,229.34 for himself.
Magistrates sentenced Guthridge to 240 days in prison, suspended for 18 months, and ordered him to carry out 300 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
He was given a three month curfew to remain at home between 8pm and 5am on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It runs until July 31.
