Detectives have charged a man after an alleged rape in woodland.

A woman reported being dragged into woods in Rusthall on her way home from a bar in Tunbridge Wells last Saturday.

She had accepted a lift home from a man outside the bar, and says the car stopped in the area and she was pulled from it and subsequently raped.

Chiron Hutchinson, aged 19, of Mount Pleasant, Uckfield, East Sussex, has been charged with rape.

He has been remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
