KENT Police are involved in an armed seige in Tunbridge Wells. They were called to a disturbance in Sherwood Road just before 8am this morning and believe a man is brandishing a gun.

Further armed response units are on the way to the scene.

Meanwhile the junctions of Sherwood Road with Sanhurst Road and Greggswood Road have been cordoned off.
