A road remained closed for an entire day after after a man's body was found in a badly damaged car in the early hours of the morning.

Investigators discovered the body after being called to a crash in Bunny Lane in Frant, south of Tunbridge Wells, just before 4am yesterday.

Police are working to establish how the fatal smash, involving a silver VW Golf, happened.

The teen was arrested yesterday.

The road, which links the A26 Strawberry Hill, near Eridge Green, and the A267 Frant Road, was closed throughout the day but has now reopened.

Anyone who has information about the incident is asked to e-mail collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting Operation Tavy.
