This halloween, creepy beings will emerge from the shadows to terrify the people of Tunbridge Wells.

The Royal Victoria Hall Theatre in Southborough is once again set to become home to a frightening horror attraction.

The minds behind last year’s Pitch Black Scare Attraction are preparing to produce a nail-biting tour around a meat pie factory, which has been closed for 30 years since the products were found to contain human flesh.

As the Porky’s Fear Factory team prepare to open the factory doors one last time, they are all too aware that this could also be their final scare at the theatre, which is set to close for good at the end of the year.

Perhaps better known in the local area for his family pantomimes, Wicked Productions’ Tom Swift is also the creator of Porky’s Fear Factory.

He has been performing at the Vic for 22 years and has been producing his own shows there since 2012, most recently Wizard of Oz at Easter.

Mr Swift said: “I am very saddened to hear that the Vic is closing down. I have so many happy memories of it and I feel like I grew up on that stage.

"We’ve got two more big productions in that space so we’re ready to go out with a bang. Halloween will be the scariest yet and then at Christmas we’re back for the final time with Peter Pan so come along and say goodbye to The Vic with us”.

Porky’s Fear Factory returns on Thursday, October 23 until Saturday, November 1 from 6:30pm each night.
