Teenager threatened with knife in Tunbridge Wells

A teenage boy has been threatened with a knife as he walked home with friends in Tunbridge Wells.

The incident happened as the victim walked with two friends from Vicarage Road into Pennington Road.

On Monday, March 28, at around 1.35pm a man walked into the victim and then threatened him while holding a knife.

The offender was white, around 18, 5ft 6in, with brown hair. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt, a grey tracksuit and black trainers.

Police Sergeant Jonathan Hannan said: "Officers have been making inquiries including the examination of CCTV in the area.

"We are now appealing for witnesses who have not spoken to the police, and anyone else with information, to call our appeal line.

"Drivers with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for footage that may assist the investigation."
