Bayhall Road in Tunbridge Wells now open following industrial incident

A man has been airlifted to hospital following an industrial incident in Tunbridge Wells
It's reported that a lorry driver was crushed by a load of wood which was being carried by the vehicle.
Bayhall Road was closed in both directions between Kingswood Road and Halls Hole Road to allow emergency services access but has now reopened.
Officers were called at 8.54am to Bayhall Road.
A man in his 20s has been taken to Kings College Hospital in London by air ambulance, to treat an abdominal injury.
A police spokesman said no one else was involved in the incident and the Health and Safety Executive has been made aware.
Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance was also in attendance, where the patient was treated at the scene by the helicopter’s doctor and paramedics before being taken to London.
