Police investigating the death of a man at a festival campsite are not treating it as suspicious.

Emergency services scrambled to the campsite of Flamefest, a "kink rave" festival, around 6.10am yesterday.

Despite efforts to revive him, a man in his fifties was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police search the area in Brokes Wood

A woman in her forties was also found unconscious, and was airlifted to Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury.

She remains in hospital and is in a stable condition.

Police carrying out enquiries at the scene

Officers remained at the scene off Powder Mill Lane conducting inquiries, and would now like to speak to anyone who may have information that could assist them.

If you have information, contact Kent Police on 01622 604100 quoting reference 22-0185.
